Where you enter into a separate proposal, service agreement, or contract with Augment, that agreement governs the specific commercial engagement. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled when using Augment's website and software services.

AI features and automation
Augment may provide AI-assisted features that process information you intentionally provide or authorize Augment to access.
Depending on the feature, this may include prompts, instructions, documents, workspace information, or data obtained through a connected service.
We process this information to perform the action or generate the result requested by you.
Where an AI feature requires another service provider to process information, Augment may transmit the minimum information necessary to that provider for the requested feature.
Augment does not sell prompts, uploaded content, connected-account data, or AI-generated outputs.
Users remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated content and automated actions before relying upon them where appropriate.
Google user data
Augment allows users to connect supported Google services using Google OAuth.
The Google information Augment can access depends on the permissions you choose to grant and the features you choose to use.
Examples may include Google account profile information, Calendar information, Google Drive files, Gmail information, or other Google Workspace data where required by a feature you explicitly enable.
How Augment accesses Google data
Augment accesses Google user data only after you authorize the requested permissions through Google's OAuth consent process.
Augment requests only the permissions reasonably necessary to provide the feature being used.
How Augment uses Google data
Google user data is used only to provide or support functionality requested or enabled by the user.
Depending on the feature, this may include:
Authenticating your account
Viewing or managing calendar events
Creating meetings or scheduling events
Accessing files that you select or authorize
Creating or storing files in an authorized Google location
Reading messages where required by a user-enabled email workflow
Drafting or sending messages at the user's request
Performing workflows, automations, or AI-assisted actions explicitly initiated or configured by the user
Augment does not use Google user data for advertising.
Augment does not sell Google user data.
Google user data is not used for unrelated purposes.
AI processing of Google data
If you explicitly use an AI-assisted feature involving information from a connected Google service, relevant information may be processed by an AI service provider solely to perform the feature you requested.
Augment limits such processing to information necessary for that operation and uses service providers under appropriate data-processing and confidentiality requirements.
Storage of Google data
Where possible, Augment accesses Google information only when necessary to perform the requested action.
Some features may require Augment to temporarily or persistently store information obtained from Google, for example to maintain a workflow, synchronize an authorized record, create a requested business record, or perform an automation.
Stored information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant feature, workspace, legal obligation, or legitimate operational requirement.
Sharing of Google data
Augment does not sell Google user data.
Google user data may only be shared with:
Infrastructure and hosting providers necessary to operate Augment
Service providers necessary to perform a feature requested by the user
AI processing providers where the user invokes an AI-assisted feature involving that information
An authorized administrator or member of the workspace where the information forms part of that workspace
Authorities where disclosure is legally required
Service providers may process this information only to provide services to Augment and not for their own independent purposes.
Google API Limited Use
Augment's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Disconnecting Google
You may revoke Augment's access to your Google Account at any time through your Google Account permissions.
Where available, you may also disconnect the integration from within Augment.
Disconnecting your Google Account prevents Augment from obtaining additional information through that authorization.
Disconnecting an integration does not necessarily delete information that was previously stored as part of a feature you used.
You may request deletion of personal information associated with your Augment account by contacting hello@augment.mu.
Where technically and legally possible, information will be deleted or anonymized after a valid deletion request.
Service providers
Augment uses service providers to operate its infrastructure and provide functionality.
These may include providers for:
Cloud hosting
Database infrastructure
File storage
Email delivery
Authentication
Monitoring and security
Analytics
AI processing
Workflow automation
We provide these services with only the information reasonably necessary for them to perform their function.
We do not authorize service providers to sell personal information processed on Augment's behalf.
Workspace administrators
Where Augment is used by a business or organization, the organization may control the workspace and information stored within it.
Workspace administrators may be able to:
Invite or remove members
Manage permissions
Access business information within the workspace
Configure integrations and workflows
If you use Augment through an organization, that organization may have its own privacy obligations concerning information it controls.
Cookies and analytics
Augment uses cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the service, maintain sessions, provide authentication, secure accounts, and understand how features are used.
Some cookies are essential for the service to function.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling essential cookies may prevent certain features, including authentication, from working correctly.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Retention periods may depend on:
Whether your account or workspace remains active
Whether information is required for an active workflow or integration
Contractual requirements
Security and fraud-prevention requirements
Legal and accounting obligations
The resolution of disputes
Information that is no longer required may be deleted or anonymized.
Security
Augment uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
These safeguards may include access controls, authentication controls, encrypted communications, restricted infrastructure access, monitoring, and other operational security measures.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
If you believe your Augment account or information has been compromised, contact hello@augment.mu.

Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:
Request access to your personal information
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of information
Request restriction of certain processing
Object to certain processing
Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
Requests can be made by contacting hello@augment.mu.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
Some information may need to be retained where required by law or where another lawful basis for retention applies.
Children
Augment is designed primarily for businesses and adults.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through Augment accounts.
International processing
Some service providers used by Augment may operate infrastructure outside Mauritius.
Where personal information is processed internationally, Augment takes reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate protections apply to the information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Augment develops or as legal, technical, or operational requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page together with its effective date.
Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
